Thank you for allowing me to serve you. I am so excited to get started. But first, I want to lay out the ground rules of our relationship so we are on the same page.
This letter serves as our agreement. Please read it carefully. If something does not align with your goals for our work together, please contact me so we may discuss how to move forward.
My commitment to you is to deliver the best service possible. If at any time you feel any stress come up surrounding our work, please let me know right away and I will do the same.
In this agreement, I will refer to myself, my employees, and my company as “Company.” I will refer to you as “Client.”
1. Parties and Contact Information:
Company:

b. Company Name: Costa Rica Relocation & Travel LLC
c. Business Address: Calle Guacima, Playa Jaco, Costa Rica
2. Company’s Services:
a. Client has purchased Costa Rica Scouting Trip Planning Package.
b. The intention for this service is to provide Scouting Trip Planning Services for a potential move to Costa Rica.
c. This service includes:
• One-on-one phone or video Scouting Trip Planning Session
• Access to our online portal “Resource Library”
• Consulting on areas for living to explore during the scouting trip, local things to do, and more
• Logistical support identified in our meetings (car rentals, transport, connection to resources)
• Fully planned out itinerary for the Scouting Trip to Costa Rica
• Ongoing email / WhatsApp support while in Costa Rica
3. Term:
The engagement of services begins at the payment of invoice and ends after the client has completed their scouting trip. Should the client wish to proceed with their move and engage our Complete Relocation Package, the amount paid for the exploratory package may be applied towards the Complete Relocation Package.
4. Client’s Participation:
a. Client agrees to participate in the following way: Attend phone/video calls, review the e-course, and update the company on travel plans should adjustments need to be communicated.
5. Client Agrees to Pay:
a. Amount: $647.00
b. Payment due by: Our Scouting Trip Planning Session
6. Refund/Multiple Payments:
Company firmly believes in the quality of this service. If Client completes the program, shows up to every meeting, and participates fully, Company will gladly work with Client until those goals happen.
7. Confidentiality:
Any information discussed during Company and Client’s work together is confidential. This does not include information that either party was aware of prior to executing this Agreement, nor does it include information gained by a third party or available to the public.
8. Limitation of Liability:
The Company shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from this agreement, including but not limited to changes in legal requirements, travel restrictions, natural disasters, or other events beyond the Company’s control.
9. Non-Refundable Payments:
Payments for the scouting trip service are non-refundable, except in the case where the Company cannot deliver the service due to its own fault or negligence.
10. Force Majeure:
The Company is not liable for any failure to perform or delays in performance due to causes beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, government restrictions, wars, pandemics, or any other unforeseeable events.
11. Termination:
Either party may terminate this agreement with 14 days' written notice if the other party materially breaches this agreement. Upon termination, all outstanding fees for services rendered must be paid by the Client.
12. Governing Law:
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Costa Rica. Any disputes arising from this agreement will be handled in the courts of Costa Rica.
